Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Lead Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS to design, build, and scale robust backend and full-stack applications. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with practical implementation experience to architect secure, high-performing, and maintainable systems. You’ll lead backend initiatives, collaborate with front-end and DevOps teams, and ensure end-to-end delivery of scalable enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
*Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of Node.js and NestJS microservices.
*Stay actively hands-on with coding, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
*Design and develop RESTful, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
*Collaborate with front-end teams (React/Next.js) to ensure seamless API integration and consistent data flow.
*Define and enforce best practices for microservice architecture, containerization, and CI/CD automation.
*Build and maintain modular, reusable, and well-documented codebases.
*Implement and manage authentication, authorization, and API gateway integrations.
*Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to architecture and quality standards.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:
*Core Backend Expertise.
*Expert in Node.js and NestJS, with deep understanding of microservice architecture and modular design.
*Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
*Hands-on experience with Redis, API and JWT/OAuth-based authentication.
*Frontend Collaboration.
*Working knowledge of React.js and Next.js for full-stack integration.
*Ability to collaborate effectively with front-end developers to deliver cohesive, performant applications.
*Proven experience leading backend or full-stack teams while remaining hands-on with development.
*Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
*Ability to translate technical strategies into actionable, scalable solutions.

Good to Have:
*Experience using GitHub Copilot, or other GenAI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and maintainability.
*Exposure to AI-assisted testing, code documentation, or prompt-based code generation.
*Experience with API design automation, schema validation tools, or OpenAPI/Swagger frameworks.
