Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer – IT Admin with 3+ years of experience to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of IT systems and applications. The role involves testing IT infrastructure, validating system configurations, supporting administration tasks, and ensuring smooth operations across servers, networks, and end-user systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for enterprise IT administration and support systems, including ITSM platforms, contact center solutions, monitoring tools, and infrastructure/security administration portals.
* Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing to validate workflows, automations, and system behavior.
* Validate critical IT processes such as incident, problem, change, request fulfillment and other ITSM modules.
* Identify, log, track, and coordinate defect resolution with development, operations, and support teams using appropriate tools.
* Collaborate with IT operations, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage and quality delivery.
* Participate in requirement reviews, provide early quality insights, and support release readiness and documentation.
* Support test automation initiatives where applicable to accelerate testing cycles and improve coverage
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 5+ years of experience in testing enterprise IT admin and support systems, including ITSM, contact center, monitoring, or infrastructure/security portals.
* Hands-on experience with ITSM testing, workflows, integrations, and defect lifecycle.
* Proficiency with test documentation, defect tracking tools, and QA best practices.
* Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Certifications:
* ITIL Foundation or higher.
* ISTQB (Foundation/Advanced).
* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or equivalent ITSM/IT Ops certifications.
