Job Summary:
we are currently looking for Data Engineer profiles with Microsoft Purview experience. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines while ensuring robust data governance, cataloguing, and compliance across enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
*Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to ingest, process, and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
*Implement and manage data governance, data cataloguing, and metadata management using Microsoft Purview.
*Collaborate with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
*Monitor data quality and ensure data integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
*Develop automation and orchestration of data workflows using tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or equivalent.
*Assist in defining data security policies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards using Purview’s data classification and access control features.
*Troubleshoot and optimize data systems for performance and scalability.
*Document data engineering processes, data lineage, and metadata to support transparency and audit requirements.
*Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data engineering and governance.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
*Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
*Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview for data governance, cataloguing, and classification.
*Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
*Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Apache Spark.
*Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and big data technologies.
*Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar.
*Understanding of data security, privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate).
*Experience with other data governance tools.
*Knowledge of DevOps practices for data pipelines.
*Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts.
