Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Calypso Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Calypso platform development, customization, and integration, with a proven track record of delivering solutions in capital markets, asset management, and wealth management domains.
Key Responsibilities:
*Design, develop, and implement solutions on the Calypso platform for Wealth & Asset Management operations.
*Customize and extend Calypso modules (Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Collateral, etc.) to meet business requirements.
*Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
*Develop and maintain interfaces between Calypso and other enterprise systems (e.g., trading, risk, settlement, accounting).
*Optimize performance and ensure scalability of Calypso applications.
*Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Analysts, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality solutions.
*Stay updated on Calypso upgrades, patches, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
*6+ years of hands-on experience in Calypso development and customization.
*Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, and Calypso APIs.
*Experience in Wealth & Asset Management domain (portfolio
management, fund accounting, risk management, settlements).
*Familiarity with financial products: equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, and structured products.
*Expertise in Calypso workflows, trade lifecycle, and messaging (STP, SWIFT, FIX).
*Experience with Oracle/SQL databases and performance tuning.
*Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
*Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
