Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Developer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions on the Avaloq platform, ensuring seamless support for front-to-back office processes in wealth and asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and customize solutions on the Avaloq Banking Suite to support Wealth & Asset Management operations.
*Configure Avaloq modules (portfolio management, trading, settlement, corporate actions, reporting).
*Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
*Integrate Avaloq with external systems (trading platforms, risk systems, compliance tools).
*Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability.
*Implement Avaloq parameterization, scripting, and customization for business workflows.
*Participate in upgrades, patches, and new module implementations.
*Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
*Work closely with cross-functional teams (Business Analysts, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
*6+ years of hands-on experience in Avaloq development and customization.
*Strong knowledge of Avaloq parameterization, scripting (APL), and customization techniques.
*Experience in Wealth & Asset Management domain (portfolio management, fund accounting, compliance, settlements).
*Familiarity with financial instruments: equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, structured products.
*Expertise in SQL/Oracle databases and performance tuning.
*Knowledge of integration protocols (FIX, SWIFT, APIs).
*Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, reconciliation, and compliance reporting.
*Experience with Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
*Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
