Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Global Payroll Functional Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, support, and continuous optimization of Oracle Fusion Global Payroll across multiple countries. The role requires close collaboration with HR, Payroll, Finance, third-party payroll vendors, and technical teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while delivering scalable and efficient payroll solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Payroll Configuration & Support:
• Implement and configure Oracle Fusion Global Payroll for multi-country payrolls including UAE, Egypt,
KSA, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, African countries, etc.,
• Configure payroll statutory units, payroll definitions, elements, balances, and calculation rules.
• Configure deductions, earnings, allowances, overtime, retro pay, and recurring/non-recurring
elements.
• Support payroll calendars, consolidation groups, costing, and payment methods.
Payroll Processing & Validation:
• Support end-to-end payroll processing including:
* Pre-payroll validations
* Payroll runs and recalculations.
* Retro-pay processing.
* Payroll balances and reconciliation.
• Analyze and resolve payroll run errors, balance discrepancies, and costing issues.
• Support parallel payroll runs and cutover activities during implementations or transitions.
Statutory & Compliance:
• Configure and support country-specific statutory rules (tax, social insurance, end-of-service benefits,
etc.).
• Ensure payroll compliance with local regulations and internal audit requirements.
• Support statutory reporting and year-end processes.
Integrations & Interfaces:
• Support payroll integrations with:
* Third-party payroll engines (e.g., Ramco and other local providers)
* Finance / GL systems.
* Banks and payment files
• Support inbound and outbound integrations using HDL, extracts, and payroll interfaces.
Payroll Security & Controls:
• Configure payroll security roles and data access.
• Ensure PII handling, masking, and compliance with data privacy standards.
• Support audit queries, payroll controls, and segregation of duties.
Testing, UAT & Deployment:
• Prepare payroll test scenarios and test data.
• Support UAT cycles, defect resolution, and sign-off.
• Support production deployments, payroll dry runs, and post-go-live stabilization.
Documentation & Stakeholder Support:
• Prepare functional design documents, payroll setup workbooks, and process documentation.
• Work closely with HR, Finance, Infosec, and external payroll vendors.
• Provide functional guidance and support during payroll cycles.
Role Requirement and Qualification:
• 6+ years of experience in Oracle Payroll (Fusion and/or EBS), with strong hands-on Fusion Global
Payroll experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll concepts, statutory compliance, and payroll controls.
• Experience supporting multi-country payroll implementations or rollouts.
• Hands-on experience with HDL, payroll balances, costing, and integrations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with payroll vendor integrations (e.g., Ramco, SAP, ADP, local payroll systems).
• Experience supporting Middle East payrolls (UAE, KSA, Egypt, etc.).
• Exposure to Redwood UI and Oracle quarterly updates.
• Experience in audit, compliance, and payroll transformation initiativse.
