Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced API Lead / Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of APIs, ensuring seamless integration, governance, documentation, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API frameworks, API management platforms, and stakeholder coordination to drive scalable and reusable API solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and manage the complete API lifecycle from requirement gathering to production deployment.
*Monitor and track API development progress, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
*Drive API governance, maintenance, and optimization initiatives for Customer Assistant platforms.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including HIP teams, to ensure API compliance, reusability, and alignment with enterprise standards.
*Maintain and update service catalogs and API repositories.
*Identify opportunities for API standardization, scalability, and performance improvement.
*Ensure APIs follow security, compliance, and best practices across environments.
*Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement activities related to APIs.
Role Requirements and Qualification:
*10+ years of overall IT experience with relevant experience in API management, integration, or middleware technologies.
*Knowledge of API frameworks and API platforms.
*Be responsible for tracking API progress from requirements to delivery in production.
*Ensure proper documentation is done properly (Swagger, sender, receiver, API owner, data test set by environment, main usage, including API context, for improved maintenance and usability.
*Drive and track overall maintenance and management of APIs for Customer Assistant.
*Engage with various stakeholders including HIP team to ensure compliance and reusability.
*Adhere to and complete existing processes and update of service catalog.
